My gawd this is ridiculous. Can't they have just ONE word out of the
entire English language to themselves? Ok, there's also "queer" and
"faggot" but those are all names GIVEN to them that they then co-opted to
take away from the bigots. Aside from the fact that describing yourself
in a happy way as "gay" is so quaint and Victorian anyway. I certainly
wouldn't go around expressing myself like "I'm very gay because I got a
raise at work. Yippee!" I'd rather be like, "Fuck yeah! More money to
blow on shit!"
