I don't normally jump in on discussions like this, but if you were to say
that in the UK to 99.9% of tabloid 'reporters' (and, sadly, some broadsheet
reporters too) you'd probably be laughed at. Here the press seems to be bent
on selling scandal, 'celebrity gossip' and pretty much all the shite they
think they can get away with writing regardless of how true it is. If it
sells papers, it's good copy.

I thought the US was much worse than here, if you can prove otherwise I'll
take my hat off to you :)
