Reminds me of the time I worked overseas for six months. I had some
stuff shipped back to me from there. Mostly pretty indestructible
stuff (cables and the like), but including a few old 486 laptops they
were giving away to anyone who wanted one ("take two, they're small").
They didn't pack at all either, just dumping everything into boxes.
And every one of the laptops arrived damaged to some extent.
Fortunately, there was another laptop I carried back with me when I
returned, and it was in fine shape; I'm keeping the others as
replacement parts supplies.
