I assume that by this you meant that there are third parties making compatible
RAM boards? Because it's certainly not the case that you can just throw in
old SIMMs or DRAM chips that you have lying around.

Thanks for pointing this out. I've browsed around from there some, and I
can't figure out *how* to actually order the upgrade. Any hints will
be welcomed.
