That's an interesting question. Don't forget, Microsoft was and
still is a key developer for the Mac. There are plenty of Word
users on the Mac. My memory is that these keys were working
in Win 3.1, but I also existed on the Mac with cloverleaf instead
of control, of course. That sequence is in my Mac Word 5.0 from
December 1991, for example. I started seriously using and developing
under Windows 2.0, although I probably experimented with 1.x.
