As a former user of killer.dallas.tx.us in '86 or thereabouts, I always
wanted to get a 3b2, but it just never worked out for some reason, so I
quit looking. I still have a copy of SvsV for the 3b2-300 (I think),
though. Only a couple of the AT&T manuals, though.
Speaking of Texas, the TI S1500 and the Explorer Lisp machine were both
introduced in '86. Also the 1100, which was a '286 multiuser Xenix machine.
Was the Sparc '86 or '87?
