ASR-33....its alive (sort of)

While the actual Teletype-issue striker might be problematic to find,
many of us (and others on the Greenkeys list) have had good luck using one
of those small rubber feet with the adhesive on the back (one commercial
brand is 'BumpOn').... just clean the hammer pad and stick on one of the
3/8" round or square feet - problem solved. I've done this myself and the
rig is, to the best of my knowledge, still in service five years later.
