I have to say that I try to correct errors, even if they're production
errors. I like my machines to work properly, and to be easy to repair,
and so on.

My Acorn Cambridge came with a mis-wired power harness which caused an
otherwise unused 12V output on the PSU to be shorted to ground. Since
that output came from a higher-voltage output via a linear regulator on
the PSU board it didn't shut the thing down, but it sure ran hot!
